Noting that Litchfield Co. is 52% forested, Sean Grace, Executive Director of Sharon Audubon Center, went on to educate & inform those attending the 7/26 Salisbury Rotary Club luncheon meeting about the habitats & plants needed for local birds of our area and .what native plants should be in our backyard to attract more birds!  The migratory patterns of certain birds attracted to out region were discussed also.  To learn about  state-owned and privately held lands helping safeguard critical habitat and jeopardized birds, and more about Sharon Audubon: sharon.audubon.org.
