The 9/5 meeting of the Salisbury Rotary Club was a Business Meeting devoted to responding to victims of Hurricane Harvey. Three options were identified:
- Rotary District 5930 has partnered with McAllen North Rotary Fund (a 501C-3) to set up an Emergency Relief Fund.
- Our Rotary Club can purchase a Shelter Box for $1,000, or make individual donations.
- Valerie Crane (860) 671-5345 spoke at ourmeeting on Tuesday, informing us that a truck would be leaving from North Canaan Elementary School on September 17th traveling to Houston to deliver cleaning items and more, to people in need. Items needed and drop-off info was shared.
