Pastor Savage Frieze of North Canaan Congregational Church spoke to the Salisbury Rotary Club July 25th about Pilgrim House, the church facility that houses Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry and serves as the focal point for many in the community needing food and meals provided. In describing the program, he noted the challenges of using outdated equipment, like the stove and oven, and the Area Health Department's imposed restrictions because of such factors. Club President Fran Chapell announced that she has applied for a District 7890 grant for the SRC to be able to help support Pilgrim House's community food programs.
