TASTE OF THE TRI-STATE EVENT
Sunday, March 19 11am to 4pm

Taste of the Tri-State showcases local businesses, food, music and activities for the kids at the Mars Athletic Center, Hotchkiss School.  Fun for the entire family

Our Club will have our booth set up and we need volunteers to man the booth, pass out free cookies, and chat with our community about the good works that our Club does.

Also, our Cub will be providing chili (compliments of Peter Fitting and Noble Horizons) and we need volunteers to help serve.

If you are interested in volunteering your time at this Club activity please email mgorat@salisburyvna.org
Run for the Roses
This year's Run for the Roses will take place on May 6th at Geer Village - thank you Geer!

As one of our biggest Club fund raising events we will be looking to our entire membership to help us make the event a huge success.

Members will be asked to get auction donation items, sell tickets, spread the word and more.  It will be a great opportunity for all of our members to help our Club so we can help others.

Remember our motto - Service above Self!

The Hidden Treasure of Korean Art
and Modern Korea

Returning to our Club, on February 28 is  the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project:  The Hidden Treasure of Korean Art and Modern Korea. Once known as the Land of the Morning Calm, Korea now possesses the 10th to 12th largest economy in the world and is becoming more and more important in the world's economy, culture and politics. Two documentary films about Korea will be shown. Complimentary books and homemade Korean deserts will be provided.  This is a very interesting and informative presentation - worth seeing again, plus the homemade deserts are delicious.

New Members
Our Club welcomes Roxanne Belter and Linda Roberston!  Roxanne works at Lime Rock Park and handles community relations and event planning.  Linda Robertson is employed by Founders Insurance Agency and is a member of several local Chambers.  Linda and Roxanne will officially be inducted into our membership at our February 28th meeting.  Please join us in welcoming them into our Club!
