“Saddle up for the Kentucky Derby with Rotary”
We hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. We are writing on behalf of The Salisbury Rotary Club Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping others. The mission of the Salisbury Rotary Club is to improve the lives of citizens in our local communities and communities around the world. Our motto, Service Above Self, signifies our willingness to place the needs of others over our personal needs.
One of our current events is our annual “Kentucky Derby Social”, May 2nd, 2026. This event is our largest fundraiser, bringing our local community together while giving back to others. To have a successful event, we need the support of generous individuals like you.
Please consider donating an auction item, becoming a sponsor, or donating a monetary amount. Your contribution will go directly towards local scholarship programs and other local community non-profits, making a significant difference in the lives of children and families in need.

What do we do with all the proceeds from our events and fundraisers?
We make numerous donations back to our local communities, Canaan, Falls Village, Lakeville, Salisbury, Cornwall, and Sharon.Examples include collecting food and monetary donations for local food banks; providing scholarships for High School and back-to-school students; and supporting many other nonprofits in these towns.We also make an annual contribution to the Rotary International Disaster Fund. Over the past several years, we have donated more than $50,000 back to our community.If you know of a local non-profit that can use our help, please contact one of our Rotarians.
